Have you found any new fitness software, apps or gadgets lately? If so, leave a comment to tell us about your favorites and read through some of the latest gear I’ve come across recently:

– If you’ve ever carted around ragged, crumpled workout logs at the gym, you may want to consider MynaTime – software that talks you through your workouts. With MynaTime, you describe your workout (typing it into the text box) and the program automatically converts it into a speech you can listen to on your computer or your iPod (you can also combine it with your favorite music). It’s complicated at first and it does take some time to figure out how it works and to create the workouts. Once I got the hang of it, however, I liked it, although I think it’s best for interval workouts and too complicated for strength routines. It only works with Mac OS X and you’ll want to before you buy it, but it’s worth a look. – This site worth a gander if you’re on a budget and want reasonably priced workout DVDs. The videos cover everything from step aerobics and yoga to strength training and kickboxing at a variety of fitness levels. You can view short clips of each workout before you choose one and each DVD costs $7.98 and includes two 30-minute workouts. Have you tried any Discount Workouts? Be sure to leave a comment to tell us about them. – This fitness app offers workouts based on what they call a P.A.S.E. system – power, agility, strength and endurance. When you buy the app (it’s $1.99) you get a strength workout and a power workout (the agility and endurance workouts are an extra $1.99 each). The workouts are unusual and kind of fun, if you like to be challenged – and I do mean challenged. The workouts include only body weight exercises, but don’t think that lets you off the hook, because they are tough. Some of moves include mule kicks, plyo pushups, mountain climbers, burpees, long jumps and machine gun squats. You can follow the workouts (which include video, timers, etc.) or create your own and you also have the option to create a playlist from your own music. Cool. This is a great app for travelers who want a challenging workout without needing any equipment. Check out to get full details and watch out for the mule kicks – there may be a lamp back there…or a person (sorry, dear husband). I give this one two thumbs up.

Do you have any favorite , software or ?
